Yooka-Laylee Character Trailer

Team17 and Playtonic Games have released a new trailer showcasing characters in their upcoming game Yooka-Laylee. Including a new guest!

The trailer gives us a look at some of the characters already previously shown in kickstarter updates or trailers. They run through a lot of the new characters created for the game since the previous updates and we get a new look at the villains of the game Capitol B and Dr. Quack who are trying to take over the world of Yooka-Laylee.

Along with this we also get a new look at some of the supporting NPC’s like Trowzer who will help Yooka and Laylee learn new moves, Dr Puzz who will help Yooka and Laylee transform to get past obstacles, and Rextro the guardian of arcade machines.

On top of that we get a new glimpse at a lot of the new characters we will be seeing on our journey. The biggest surprise though is that Shovel Knight is joining the game as an NPC. What Shovel Knights involvement in the game will be is unknown at this time, but I am more than happy to see him make an appearance in this game.
