Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 coming this year to PS4/XB1/PC

Bandai Namco have just released the announcement trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and it’s coming out this year.

As a fan of Dragon Ball Xenoverse I’m excited for this trailer. The game looks to be a little more polished and looks like it can be the best Dragon Ball game to be released up until now.

The plot seems to continue the idea of the first game where your mission is to stop disruptions in time and fix the Dragon Ball Timeline. This time though there is a lot more to the game than the original, covering the specials and movies as well.

On the website for the game http://www.dragonballxenoverse2.com/us/they note Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT meaning we could get to see some storylines from the original Dragon Ball series this time around as well.

A new hub world and the ability to fly and travel it.
Retelling of the Saiyan, Namek/Frieza, and Cell saga’s
Lord Slug shown
Bardock storyline
History of Trunks storyline

I’m really hoping we can get some more of the movies like Coolers Revenge and Fusion Reborn since we got a glimpse of Lord Slug. Only time will tell how much content gets added to this game though.

During E3 we will get more information about this upcoming game and hopefully a release date, right now I am guessing we should see it by November though since it’s being released this year.
