Final Starter Evolutions Revealed for Pokémon Sun and Moon!

Another new video for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon was released today on Pokémon’s official YouTube Channel. Let’s check it out!

New Alola Forms!
Persian- Dark type

Final Evolutions of Your Starter Pokémon!
Rowlet and Dartrix will evolve into Decidueye, a Grass/Ghost type. Decidueye has the new signature move, Spirit Shackle, a Ghost type move that causes damage and leaves the hit Pokémon unable to flee or switch out from battle.

Litten and Torracat will evolve into Incineroar, a Fire/Dark type. Incineroar has the new signature move, Darkest Lariat, a Dark type move which completely ignores stat changes when damaging an opponent.

Popplio and Brionne will evolve into Primarina, a Water/Fairy type. Primarina has the new signature move, Sparkling Aria, a Water type move that damages the opponent but also heals any burns of its target.

A Mysterious New Pokémon
Cosmog is a new mysterious, rare Psychic type Pokémon, could Cosmog be involved in the story of Sun and Moon?

Guardian Pokémon of Alola
Tapu Koko is not alone, the Guardian Pokémon of Melemele Island has companions that reside on Alola’s other islands!

Tapu Lele is the Guardian of Akala Island. It wields a new move, Psychic Terrain, which boosts the power of Psychic type moves used by any Pokémon on the ground and prevents them from being hit by priority moves. It has the new ability Psychic Surge, which automatically activates Psychic Terrain upon entering battle.

Tapu Bulu is the Guardian of Ula’ula Island. It has a new ability, Grassy Terrain, which boosts the power of any Grass type moves used by Pokémon on the ground, restores a bit of HP to them each turn and halves the damage taken from the moves Earthquake, Magnitude, and Bulldoze.

Tapu Fini is the Guardian of Poni Island. It also has the new ability, Misty Terrain, which halves the damage taken by Pokémon on the ground from Dragon type moves and prevents them from getting status conditions or confusion.

All of the Tapu Pokémon also share a special Z-Move, called Guardian of Alola!

Familiar Faces Return at the Battle Tree!
The Battle Tree is a place in Alola that trainers strong enough to beat the Island Trials go to battle it out! Some familiar faces and Legendary Trainers will appear at the Battle Tree!

Even Red and Blue from the original Pokémon games will appear at the Battle Tree as opponents!

Opponents that you have defeated can be scouted to be partners in future battles, this includes some famous faces!

A League Forms?!

While Sun and Moon have traded the traditional League system for Island Trials, it seems that a new League may be coming to Alola after all! At the peak of a Mount Lanakila, the construction of a new Pokémon League has begun, will Alola soon have an Elite Four and Champion?!
