By Nintendo is celebrating The Legend of Zelda’s 30th Anniversary with amiibo, sweaters, and new books from Dark Horse!
To start things off Ninteno has announced four new Amiibo to celebrate the Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary. First off we have the 8Bit Link Amiibo and the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Link Amiibo. Then we have a two pack featuring Toon Link and Zelda from the Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker.
These amiibo will work as standard Link and Zelda amiibo in all previous games that support those Amiibo, as well as have special functionality in the upcoming The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild when it comes out next year. These Amiibo will be available on December 2nd 2016.
Along with it three new Legend of Zelda books will be coming out from publisher Dark Horse Comics. The first of which is called Arts and Artifacts which will include 2,000+ illustrations from The Legend of Zelda franchise.

To add to the celebration, Nintendo also announced the release of The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Wii U’s eshop. The game is available starting today.
While not mentioned in the Nintendo direct, there is also a set of Legend of Zelda sweaters being released by Merchoid to celebrate The Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary. There is a blue sweater “A Link to Christmas Past” and a green sweater “The Legend of Santa” which are both available now at Merchoid’s website.
