By Rockstar has finally announced a sequel to it’s critically acclaimed western, Red Dead Redemption.
Today on their official site, Rockstar has unveiled that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and we won’t have to wait long. The image above confirms that RDR2 will release next Fall!
“Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.”
While only very few details were given, we do know that an online multiplayer component will be included, likely something similar to Grand Theft Auto Online. The website domain for Red Dead Online was even registered recently by Rockstar.
A trailer has been promised for this upcoming Thursday 8am/11am PT/ET
