By In order to mark this month’s milestone of more than 100 million copies of Assassin’s Creed sold, Ubisoft has announced a new HD collection, coming in November 2016.
It was announced today via the game studio’s blog, that Ezio Auditore da Firenze will be coming to current gen consoles with a collection of his own.
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection will bring together the single player campaign and DLC of Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. None of the multiplayer features will be included as Ubisoft urges that if you would like to experience Assassin’s Creed’s multiplayer, you should check out Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
Assassin’s Creed II is the beginning of Ezio’s adventures, it tells how he became an assassin and the adventures he had throughout his first years in the order.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is the direct sequel to Assassin’s Creed II, it takes Ezio on a journey through Italy in order to build up his own brotherhood of assassins to fight by his side.
Assassin’s Creed Revelations advances our story a bit, seeing Ezio as a seasoned leader and mentor in the assassin’s order. Switching gears to Constantinople, this games sees the conclusion to Ezio’s story in the video game franchise.
In addition to the three games, this collection will also feature the short films, Assassin’s Creed Embers and the three-part Assassin’s Creed Lineage. These stories serve to further enhance Ezio’s backstory and add an epilogue that ties up the famed assassin’s journey.
As a special treat for early adopters, for a limited time, copies of the game will come with an $8 off coupon for movie tickets to see the Assassin’s Creed movie, coming to theaters on December 21, 2016.
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One on November 15, 2016 at a retail price of $59.99. It is available for pre-order on Amazon.
