Square Enix just announced that they are bringing an HD remaster of the hit classic Final Fantasy XII to PS4 in 2017. Named the Zodiac Age, the remaster will include tons of new features an upgrades including new remastered graphics and soundtrack. Players will be able to switch between the original soundtrack and remastered soundtrack unlike the recent remaster of Final Fantasy X. Player will also be able to switch between English or Japanese Voiceovers.
On the gameplay front, the PS4 remaster will include the Zodiac system which was never released in the west and exclusive to japanese copies of the PS2 game. Brand new to the game is a trial mode that will allow players to fight monsters in an arena up to 100 consecutive battles.
No release date has been announced but if we had to guess based off of Final Fantasy X release date we could hopefully expect it in Spring 2017. Final Fantasy XII: Zodiac Age will be playable at this years E3 Convention.
